Let's go Utah
Refs gave Michigan a TD gift on their 1st drive. Utah is coming on strong.

Let's go UTAH!

Yep. Funny UTAH's spread looks much more impressive than Michigan's. Brian Johnson is a good QB for the spread. The kid can throw a good ball.

Michigan gonna find out without Pat White, the spread just does not look the same.

Michigan has no answer for the spread offense.

Even though they had all preseason to practice against it.

Utah's OL is giving the QB all day to throw.

edit: What I like about Utah so far is they are actually managing the clock on offense, creative some long but productive drives, rather than going for the score on every play. That kind of ball control will pay dividens in the long run for this game.

RE: Let's go Utah
It's weird looking at Utah's offense because they're running a lot of thing like Cincinnati's spread offense, except they use the run more. Actually, Utah's offense looks a lot like West Virginia's. Either way, like you said, Michigan has seen it all offseason and have no answer at all for it.

Despite some key penalties, UTAH is driving the ball. Brian Johnson is making some awesome throws out of the QB position. They are picking Michigan apart so far. If not for those penalties and key turnover, Utah should be up.

UTAH has dominated this game and they are only up by 2. They need to get some scores.

You certainly can't expect Michigan's spread to be very good yet... Rich Rod doesn't have the athletes in place to run it effectively.

No, I don't. But the hyped Michigan D is getting picked apart. Louis Sakoda from Utah is a damn good kicker. The kid gonna play in the NFL.

No, but there isn't any reason why the defense shouldn't be good, or at least better prepared for the spread.

I always thought his defense at WVU was overrated... but being that this is the first year under a new system I'll cut them some slack.

You're right mlb, his defense at WVU was always suspect, particularly against the pass.

Get Sakoda a job at the NFL. He just nailed a 53 yarder. He is also a local boy from CA. What a kick and Utah takes 25-10 lead.

I agree stpnum4. Even when Michigan was good the last few years I thought UC matched up well with them. Michigan is fighting back though!

I give Michigan credit, they fought back pretty hard, just not there yet.

Congrats to Utah.
