While the UL defense is playing better than last year. Their team does not look like it will be in the top half of Big East this year.

Louisville doesn't look much better then Syracuse. The defense is playing ok, but that offense is horrid. If Kentucky is doing that to their offense what is going to happen in the Big East?

Wow, Louisville doesn't score until the 4th quarter, and it was a safety. Louisville defense is pretty strong actually.

What a bad call! And those ESPN guys defending that call is a joke.

RE: Kentucky-Louisville game thread
That interception probably just slammed the door on the Cards attempt to be relevant. I think we have another candidate for the cellar. UofL has no offensive line, Cantwell consistently made bad decisions and throws. The receivers didn't catch the balls that made it to them. They also don't run pass routes very well. Basically, offensive execution is terrible. They'll never win at this rate.

The defense, surprisingly, has performed well. They haven't allow a TD all game, so far. The one TD came on a turnover. That's the only saving grace though.

I feel for Louisville fans. Last year they had a powerful offense and a terrible defense. This year they have a pretty solid defense and a horrid offense. If English was the defensive coach last year they might have contended for a national championship.

Honestly, WITH Brohm Louisville looked completely lost at UConn last year. Without him, this is not surprising at all.

UofL is a proud program...this is kind of shocking to see them in this much disarray.

I turned the game off after the interception. Apparently, I have good timing.

Let's face it ... 27-2 loss at home versus your SEC rival is embarrassing. Louisville has a long way to go. :(

He had a couple of good games when Brohm got hurt. Reality check! That reminds me of Bubby Brister. Anybody remember Bubby Brister? He was John Elway's backup. When Elway went down Brister came in and took care business and the Broncos didn't miss a beat. And when Elway retired after the Broncos' second world championship Brister was given the starting spot, or at least everybody assumed. Griese was quickly given the keys to the starting QB spot. Why? Because Brister sucked ass and was only successful because the Broncos were run by Elway. And when he came in the system was in place to survive a short time without Elway and there was no pressure on Brister.
