another streak broken by Krags
It was 97 games since the last time our offense failed to score in a game. That was in 2000 against Florida State on the road.

we'll have less than 25k at the game next week. Bank on it.

-- Honestly, if UL fans are that fair-weather then why go through staduim expansion? Isn't it better to have 15K empty seats rather then 35k?

Hopefully, the Cards will get their sh!t together. The defense played great. The offensive line sucked. That was the big difference. I think we'll see that Kentucky's defense isn't as great as everyone thinks when they play Alabama. They really don't play anyone else until then, just some cupcakes.

Not the O Line fault, unless maybe a few plays of not establishing hte run. Unfortunately alot of this falls on Hunters throwing technique, his long delivery gets the defense to the receivers and when he throws the ball at the guys feet as well all bullets with no touch, its hard to catch. The other issue the WR's on the field were not starters, we need to see if we have the same problem when Long (not soon) and Guy comes back full strength.

Actually, we will have at least 35,000 to 38,000 fans that will show up. Most of the ones saying nobody will show, do not own season tickets and do not donate to the Cardinal Athletic Fund. They fail to realize how many Louisville fans do have season tickets (32,000 Plus)! With that being said, Kragthorpe may well be booed out of the stadium! He is the worst coach in the Big East right now! I will be at the game and will be tailgating! And I will be sending President Ramsey e-mails very soon, if this train wreck is not fixed! Tom Jurich had better watch his mouth, because hr is burning bridges with the fan base on the Kragthorpe issue. He has to remember that you do not bite the hand that feeds you. Louisville is ready to explode over Kragthorpe's, I could give a "big $hit attitude" and lack of intensity! Jurich had better remember that he fired Denny Crum for less than what Kragthorpe is doing. And the Crum supports have never forgotten that! They are still waiting in the bushes with their clubs in hand! After all Kragthorpe now has a losing record at Louisville! 03-phew

It could be worse. You could have Rutgers' kicker.

DAVE CALDWELL (NY Times): Coach, what did you think of your kicker's execution?
Greg Schiano: I was in favor of it.

Rick Bozich (Louisville Courier-Journal): Coach, what did you think of your team's execution?
Steve Kragthorpe: I'm in favor of it. Quick (pointing at the mob heading his way)... Before that lynch mob comes to get me. Maybe we can distract them with the execution.

This is usually what happens when you hire from your old boys network or your own old buddy. The guy has not proved that he can coach at the BCS level, so why is anyone surprised that he is failing badly?

If you want to see an example of good coaching, watch the UCLA/TENN game tonight. UCLA being completely out talented on offense is able to move the ball after adjustments in the 2nd half. That's coaching. Of course, QB Craft looked like a genius after throwing 4 INTs in the first half but he sure looked great in the 2nd after the offense made many adjustments.
