So, even if Rutgers wins tonight, we (the ACC) will have had a better weekend, record-wise. 07-coffee3

FBS OOC vs. Records

lol, get over it, the ACC is sucking. The ACC fans' excuse is always "look at the Big East", but the ACC is the one getting ranked over the coals so deal with it.
I haven't denied it at any point in this thread.

That said, the Big East is 7 minutes away from putting up a goose-egg against FBS competition this weekend.

And the ACC is still the SEC's *****. I guess you have to vent since the SEC fans and the media tore you a new a-hole. But, at the end of the day, the Big East has two Top 20 (possibly Top 15) team, and the ACC likely won't have a Top 20 team. And the next 7 minutes won't change that. 03-lmfao

LOL! They said it was a bad week for the Big East (and Big Ten), but it's only week one, and then they praised the non-BCS. Notice how they didn't rip the Big East a new @sshole like the ACC! heh

Again, I have yet to deny that disheartening fact at any point in the last 3 years.

No, I like to banter with bitcruncher, and cuseroc.

Yeah, but your conference is 0-4 OOC against FBS schools, with 3 of those at home. Us getting ripped new ones (and rightly so) won't change that fact.... 07-coffee3

I love the fact that everyone is ready to jump on the Alabama bandwagon based on their game against Clemson, who always fall on their face when they get the chance to shine. Just like I loved the people who were betting on Wannstedt and Michigan. I should write a book about this mentality and call it Gullible's Travels.

I love the gullible. They're easy to take money from... 05-stirthepot

Yea ur hopin that so it improves WV's SOS! I thought Bama was solid before Clemson, thank ya very much.

I thought Alabama had a better team than Clemson. And they are always ready to start the season. Clemson has a history of stumbling early...

The article must have been written before the Rutgers, and Louisville games.. otherwise it would have said thank God for the Acc and BE.05-stirthepot 03-nutkick

Your a cusa fan. You have no right to talk smack to anyone about fb after the last 3 seasons. I think you will disappear anyway after the game with USF is over this week, just like last year. Go back to the cusa board and continue telling folks how you think that cusa will be better than the BE.03-lmfao

The other point is that the top teams from the BE still won their games. The 3 bottom teams from the BE last year all lost their games, and it appears that they are still the 3 bottom teams this year. If WV, USF, Cincy and Uconn lose to heavy underdogs the way the top acc teams did this past weekend and the media starts writing articles making fun of the BE, then you can talk smack about the acc to us.
This is exactly why I'm wondering why some people on this board are jumping off a cliff already. I didn't hear a peep about the BE all weekend. The ACC debacle was all over ESPN's college football shows.

Conversely, I know that folks here will take any shot they can at the ACC for the way things went down with the raid. On the flip side, the Big East had an awful weekend and the bad play by Rutgers and Louisville was noticeable because they were the only games on nationally at those times. Pitt is getting a pass from some writers because they were ranked at the very bottom of the top 25 and they did have a losing record last year.

Its going to be a year where the Big East teams could all beat up on each other. And if this is only a one week fluke, lets roll Temple, Buffalo, Tennessee Tech, Akron, ECU and UCF and have a good showing at Oklahoma. 6-1 (5-1 vs. FBS teams) has to be the minimum this week.

Which conference is worse, the ACC or Big East? either way, you're fighting for 5th and 6th place right now

Just think, if Rutgers and Pitt lost to Bowling Green and Fresno State, imagine what Alabama and USC would have done to them...

As they say PLUS 1

The same thing that happened to Auburn last year when they got beatup at home by USF is going to happen to them at Morgantown, maybe even worse since the game is in Morgantown.

RE: ESPN: Thank God for the ACC
Auburn is starting to run the spread, and they lost their top 3 receivers, the #1 receiver gone for the season with a knee injury, and have an injured QB. The game in Morgantown could get ugly. Auburn better hope they get healthy quick - LSU and Tennessee are coming to town in a few weeks. Southern Miss and Mississippi State they should handle with ease. Same with Vandy and Arkansas after LSU and UT roll through town.

But then they have to climb the mountain, and on the top waits some Mountaineers... 05-mafia
