trying to be good citizens
This is really sad. Based on the story, it seems like the players were trying to be good citizens and defuse a potentially volatile situation so that no innocent people got hurt. Instead, they ended up getting hurt. My prayers go out to them. The majority of Duquesne's team is freshmen and transfers. Can you imagine the horror of being shot during your first month of school? Gosh!
