I would be interested in seeing what Cincy's attendance is when UofL visits. I know we always take a lot of fans and I would venture to guess the years we play at Cincy...that is the highest attended game of the year. I'm also betting that West Virginia will take a lot of fans to Cincy as well which will also boost their attendance numbers.

Actually, last year UL didn't bring that great of a crowd. I think the total fans was around 25,000. Maybe a little bump, but you also must remember more UC fans come out for games against UL as well.

1997 Attendance 21,346 UC was 6-3 at the time of this game and beat UofL 28-9 to go to 7-3
1999 Attendance 26,399 UC was 3-5 and if I remember correctly UofL brought a huge contingent to this game
2001 Attendance: 31004 UC was 4-2 coming into the UofL game - another strong contingent from UofL
2003 Attendance: 11993 ugly, cold day - last game of season for UC with nowhere to go - no UC fans - no UofL fans either.
2005 Attendance: 21086 noon start - UofL did not bring as many as some might have thought - my guess about 5500-6000

Oh and by the way, I can't wait til' next week when we get to analyze UC's attendance all over again. ;-)
